I must say that such democratic tolerance is long overdue in Africa and so we must all congratulate Mr. Rupiah Banda for demonstrating maturity in the African Politics of today. One may consider this as just mere ceremonial words, but to me, whether he really meant it or not, the sheer mention of such words have saved Hundreds and Thousands of Zambians and for that matter Africans from shedding blood or losing their very lives. Power is sweet and no leader is happy to leave the sweetness of power except for a good course or by force.
