TRUTH STANDS: DECEIT CANNOT LAST FOR EVER

After watching a tension filled match on Tuesday evening which resulted in a draw, I was only expecting to hear some more news on the seemingly better result of the match between Ghana and England. Instead the, Ya Na case had taken a new turn, 15 accused persons have been acquitted and discharged. Whiles some have jubilated over the judicial decision, others are hurt and this has sparked indiscipline, lawlessness and agitations in the Tamale Metropolis. This time, the foot soldiers have not attacked a DCE. The President, the highest officer in the Land has been issued a warning to desist from entering Tamale in his ongoing nationwide tour or be lynched; the highest impudence.
Hmm. Politicians they say are not truthful. Knowing the stand of President Attah Mills on the Ya Na case, and his “father for all” for all motto. I was expecting that by morning, even before news break, arrests would have been made to show government’s seriousness on the matter. How could they resort to burn NDC offices, burn other houses and cause a lot of mayhem in the Tamale Metropolis. Yet the Police tell us that No arrest has been made which I believe, is because the people in question are supposed to be NDC youth who are unhappy with the High court’s ruling that has set free the people they suspect to be murderers of the late Ya Na. Since when did the youth in political parties become untouchable in Ghana
I would like to use this opportunity to advice the President, Prof. Mills, NPP flag bearer, Nana Akufo Addo, and the Intelligent Dr. Nduom of CPP, since they are the three likeiest persons to be in office come 2012, to desist from politicizing social matters of Public interest. I know that if Prof. Mills had not promised to find and punish the murders of Ya Na, this embarrassing incident wouldn’t have happened.

Let us all be honest and circumspect in our messages even in our desperation to win political Power for the truth will always come upon us.
